The Sifting & Winnowing community includes a number of student programs in addition to the Foundation, including:
Ideas Conference: an annual policy conference and Registered Student Organization run by students, for students, at the University of Wisconsin.
Ideas Conference Papers: an annual print journal and Registered Student Organization publishing the policy memos prepared by participants of the Ideas Conference
Journal of Public Affairs: a year-round student publication and Registered Student Organization for student policy memos, commentaries, and academic papers
Undergraduate Journal: a past annual print journal that published undergraduate work on law, public policy, and political science
